How do we make your kitchen or bathroom a reality? First, come to look around our showroom so that you can get an idea of what the finished product might look like.
It gives you an opportunity to discuss what's available and the style you're aiming for, face to face. It's also an opportunity to discuss our fitting service and arrange an appointment to see what we could do in your home.
When we supply and fit, we visit your home to take measurements. If we supply only, we can work off your measurements, although we're also happy to visit and double check your measurements before sale for peace of mind. Once we know the size of your rooms, we then get to work on sophisticated computer-aided-design drawings.
Once the plans are ready, we invite you back to the showroom so that we can look at the plan and picture what your arrangement would look like. Preparing these plans come at no cost to you and we can use them to put together a realistic price estimate for your design choices.
We don't expect you to make a decision on the spot and we're happy if you want multiple appointments to decide on the final version.
What happens when you've made your decision? If you feel you're ready, MB Kitchens & Bathrooms would be happy to help you achieve your vision and undertake your project. We ask for an initial deposit of £500 to hold a fitting date in the diary. After this we will email you the plans and designs for your own reference. We offer the plans alone without booking an installation for £500, and this price will be taken off the final invoice if you later choose to have us install. We ask for a 75% payment between four and six weeks before the start date, with the rest to be paid upon successful completion.
The weekend before we start, we'll organise for a skip to be delivered. With this in place, we aim to start the removal of your old kitchen or bathroom at 8am Monday. The removal may last up to three days if plumbing and electrics need to be removed. We'll plaster on the third or fourth day and after that the new room can start to come together. We schedule work into one, two, or three-week time slots depending on the size and complexity of the project. This means that if there are unforeseen things that take longer than we expect, we still have the extra time in order to fix them and deliver by the promised end date. We'll keep you informed about anything unexpected that crops up.
We hope this helps you understand how we work and gives you confidence to trust your installation to us. We're a very personal company who believe in good results, and because of this everyone who carries out the fitting at MB Kitchens & Bathrooms is directly employed by us. Each job is overseen by the Company Director, Matt, and Paula will always be your point of contact over the phone and in the showroom.
